Our next Bone Buddies meeting is Saturday Sept 9 at 9:45 am. Dr. Stephen Aronoff is an endocrinologist who has significant clinical and research experience in osteoporosis. His familiarity with osteoporosis treatment and research make him a great source of information for our group. He has agreed to speak at our meeting on Sept 9. Many thanks to Suzanne O’Malley for arranging the presentation with Dr. Aronoff

Chris Alexander was the speaker last August. She presented the latest research on the benefits of water exercise on your bones. Christine is an author of two books on water fitness. Her website is www.waterfitnesslessons.com .

Our next healthy eating discussion is Thursday September 21st at 2:00 at Summer Lamons office. Her office is located at 10000 N Central Expy, suite 400, Dallas TX, 75231. It’s the Black Milliman Bldg on the NE corner of Walnut Hill and 75.  Let me know if you have questions for Summer Lamons.

Group meetings are a fun, relaxing way to learn new information about bone health and managing osteoporosis.  And it’s interesting to meet others who are dealing with low bone density. You are welcome to join us for lunch or a cup of Starbucks coffee at the hospital bistro cafe after the meeting. It’s an opportunity to get to know each other better. Please forward our information to others.

East of Bush Turnpike (190) and south of Renner, Bush Renner Conference Center B in the hospital building.

Both lots can be accessed from 190 access road or Renner. Plenty of parking available in both lots on Saturday mornings.

If you park in the lot to the north between Renner and the professional building, the closest entrance is through the doors to the (well-marked) ER.

Once in the building, take a right and head past a small info desk (on your left) to the Conference Center B on your right. (It’s just beyond a hallway that leads off to the right.)

If you park in the lot on the west between Bush Turnpike access road and the hospital the closest entrance is through a main hospital entrance that has a huge blue cross above it.

Turn left once inside the building and follow the curve around to Conference Center B on your left.
